The scam against women exploiting the Kadena cryptocurrency name continues. Following our investigations that uncovered a scamming ring that has to date defrauded several women with a total amount that has exceeded one hundred thousand euros, no response or action has been taken either by Kadena, the aggrieved party, nor by the Tandem app that continues to host criminals unpunished on its platform.
Lonely or busy women who know their tormentors to facilitate language exchanges and who, “given the app’s weaknesses in terms of performance,” prefer to move to better-performing platforms where verbal and textual exchange is more immediate, but unfortunately find offers they cannot refuse and that promise significant earnings that would help them overcome the problems of the moment.
However, the truth is always another and it negatively affects the lives of the unfortunate ones as we have seen before. The strategy of the criminals is very clear:
- They contact the victim on Tandem.
- They make friends and in some cases imply that they are predisposed to a love or romantic relationship
- After learning information about the victims’ daily life trends they advance the proposal to invest on Kadena
- The app collects the money, provides them with the income if they request it as proof and then find themselves more investments.
- The women’s investments grow and the earnings to monitor also.
- When the women try to withdraw the money, the fake Kadena blocks the accounts and asks for percentages calculated on the amount to be unlocked to reactivate the profile so as to give the victims the coup de grace.
The latest stories told to the Digital Matrix editorial staff #️⃣, the latter aware that the first investigations would uncover an even larger number of scammers, will be translated into multiple languages so that more information can be gathered with the hope that someone will get justice because of the ill-gotten gains.

Criminals ruthless even toward the unhealthy
Another story that arrived at the newsroom in recent weeks concerns a young Italian woman who was also circuited on Tandem where she was specifically advised to make investments. The woman followed the advice and invested her savings on the Kadena platform as advised and contacted the editorial office asking for an explanation about the reported article where the Tandem – Kadena combo scam was mentioned.
In this case, the ruthless way of acting of the criminals was further noticed, who the previous time did not even look at the face of a woman with a child with health problems and, despite having learned about the poor unfortunate woman’s health difficulties, did not spare her from the scam and managed to fleece her to the tune of €5,000.
While in the case of the adult woman they had glimpsed a relationship of a sentimental nature in the early stages, in the second case all this did not happen. Despite several reports made to the Editorial Office, the response is always to report the wrong done to the competent authority despite the fact that there are often so many difficulties in filing a complaint also for reasons of shame and protection of privacy.
